Creepy Spider layered Bean Dip
Easy, creepy, kid friendly spider bean dip

- 15 oz Refried Beans
- ½ cup sour cream plus more for the web
- ½ cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- ½ avocado without peel and pit
- 10 grape tomatoes cut in half
- 11 black olives
Kidtastic!: Spread beans evenly on a large plate
Kidtastic!: Layer the sour cream and salsa over the top of beans one at a time
Kidtastic!: Sprinkle cheese over the top
Parent task (or team task): Add additional sour cream into a small ziplock bag or frosting piping bag. If you are using a ziplock bag, cut the tip off and pipe sour cream web around the plate on top of the cheese. For a piping bag, get appropriate tip and pipe sour cream into a web around the plate.
Kidtastic!: add cut grape tomatoes around the edge of the plate
Team Task: Cut 3 olives lengthwise for the body of the spiders. Cut another 5 lengthwise and cut each piece into three smaller pieces for the legs. If you are feeling ambitious or have great knife skills, cut each one into four pieces for an actual arachnid.
Kidtastic!: Cut the avocado into one larger piece and 6 smaller pieces for legs. Add to dip. Take an additional olive and make eyes for the large avocado spider.
Add the olive spiders around the large avocado spider. Serve with blue corn tortilla chips for extra creep factor. ENJOY!!!!
